I was very wary about reading this. But it was on my "list" and I didn't want to skip it. I'm really glad i decided to read it. It's a beautifully interesting look on what we're willing to sacrafice for safety. I also love its take on personal chioce. Which is better, knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing to do the wrong, or not being able to make the choice at all? Is it worth giving up our right to reason? In a class in college we spoke of how the "ability ro reason" is what makes us human. It's a dangerous topic, and Burgess presents it wonderfully.
Love this book!
Different from the movie, but thoroughly enjoyable. If I'd known that there was a book, let alone 3 with the same main characters, I would have read them a long time ago!
