A very interesting premise of an attempt to steal the declaration of independence and burn in. I felt this novel was often rather uneven and lacked the sustained dramatic tension that was the hallmark of Archer's earlier novels. An interesting fact that I learned from the novel was that the declaration of independence actually has a spelling error, proving that the founding fathers were human after all.
I always enjoy Hiaason's books and when you read enough of them you begin to see the recurring characters and have even more fun. This is easy lit, perfect for a beach vacation, always fun.
