Cheap is on the short list of books that changed how I live my life. It's a very good look at our culture and our desire for the lowest price no matter the cost in quality or the cost to our world as a whole. My favorite line is "a thrifty person doesn't drive miles to save $3 on tube socks. A cheap person might."
