This was my first Baldacci book. It was suggested by my boyfriend at the time (2000 or 2?) and I liked it a lot. I'm reading it again at this time. Still a good read, but it seems so dated now pertaining to the lottery info. The first time, I thought that LuAnn would have never gotten involved with Duane. She seemed to be a strong person and much too smart to be involved with him. But I can see their relationship better now. Finished 2nd read 10-21-15
I enjoyed this book. I liked how he used case studies to show our emotional "hotspots." It wasn't until the last few chapter that he actually had suggestions to make it better. Most of his examples were on some kind of medication for depression, bi-polar or SAD. The best point he made for me is to acknowledge your "bad spell" is approaching and try to find something happy to even out your mood/depression.
This book was great and I can't wait until book 3 comes out. Thanks Julie
