Oh, these new covers are no good! I remember loving so much that Ramona squeezed all the toothpaste out of the tube and into the sink, that my mom actually let me do it with a really gross kind of toothpaste that nobody liked :)
The end was a page turner. Too bad it took until the last third of the book to get interesting. It was hard to get through all the extra detail in the beginning. That being said Gabaldon came through in the end and left me eagerly awaiting the next book!
