I know this is supposed to be a classic, but I just couldn't get into the story. It was boring and the main character, from what I recall, was so arrogant. I got the impression for the tiny bit of discussion my professor did that the arrogance was part of the point and that it passed as the book continued, but I was interested enough to keep going, and my professor wasn't good enough for me to keep going for sake of the class.
