I remember being truly captivated by this book. Archer's novel is that of a truly epic rivalry encompassing the lives of two towering figures, playing off the biblical myth of the two warring siblings. I recall beginning the book one evening, reading through the whole night, waking about around noon only to immediately pick this book up again to finish the last 200 or so pages.

I don't like much suspence books, but the summary of this book seemed interesting so I gave it a try. I liked Perry, he was a nice guy and he deserved happiness and I'm happy he got his, uh, "happy" end, although I didn't liked Nick much -not that I disliked him- but he was quite... cold at times, to me. But still, it was a good read.
