Interesting characters, interesting plot, interesting parallel stories. Some beautiful imagery. What I would have liked, being a little too 'uptight,' was a little pronunciation guide at the beginning or in the back for the Spanish names, as I fuss over them as I read - silly, I know. Sensitivity: several sex scenes that were a little more 'graphic' than was necessary; more R-rated language than necessary.
Excellent historical fiction. Sent me researching more about Frank Lloyd Wright.
