Stroke of Enticement by Nalini Singh: I thought this was a wonderful and touching story. Zach's seduction of Annie was tender and watching her be won over by him was delightful. 5 stars. Christmas Bree by Erin McCarthy: I read the story that took place before this, Charlotte's Web, and my impression of Bree in that story kind of made me prepared to dislike this one. However, I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. Though I thought that her and Ian's relationship progressed pretty quickly, I still enjoyed it. 4 stars. Sweet Dreams by Linda Winstead Jones: The tone of this story was so completely different from all of the others that it was jarring. There was no real warning that this story would be much darker and more disturbing than the others, which kind of worked against it. I found the plot interesting, though, and the characters fairly likeable. 3 stars. Christmas Heat by Lora Leigh: I've never read anything by this author, so this was my first exposure to the Breeds series. I don't think I'll be looking into the other stories, though; I didn't really enjoy the relationship development, and there were so many people introduced that I suppose fans of the series would be familiar with, but which kind of overwhelmed for the short story in this anthology. It just didn't strike the right cord with me, but I have no doubt that fans of the series will like it. 2 star. Overall, 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4)
