I'm reading it again, this time to my boys.
This book was pretty fascinating when I read it as a young teen. It was a really good space opera, but with some shocking scenes of violence and sex - definitely most adult-themed than the other Anthony stuff I'd read up to that point. Confession: I can't think of this book without hearing Kool And The Gang's "Celebration" album, because that's the tape I had in my Walkman while I read it.
