This book was about two best friends from two different social classes. Amir, who is from a high class family, and Hassan who is from a low class family. An obstacle of their friendship is that they are of very different social classes which often interferes. When Amir goes to Marica, he realizes how close he was to Hassan and their friendship is challenged. I wont give away the ending, but the book is a happy, but at the same time, sad book.
