Bu kitap, ister beğen ister istemez Amerika'dır; Edebiyat hakkında konuşurken bunun bir başyapıt olduğuna inanmama rağmen hoşuma gitmiyor. . .
The title was the best part about this book. While the individual vignettes about the women were interesting, the book was written in a very dry, academic manner. It felt like I was reading a college textbook in a Women's Studies class. It appeared to be very well researched, and I liked that the author included women of many races and cultures throughout the ages. She did not include any women athletes at all, which I thought was odd.
I've developed a new fear of mushrooms! Wonderful, creepy, story that would be a great read on a chilly, October night in rural New England.
While I am a fan of Michael D. O'Brien's work, this was not one of my favorites. I was very bored with much of it. What I did like about it was the way the author's Catholic faith came through the characters in a very real and human way. However, I don't think I will be reading the other two books in this series.
