My mom recommended that I read the version of this book that had all the artwork and maps, which I would heartly recommend that others do the same...it made all the difference in enjoying the book. Although I enjoyed this book, it wasn't a page turner for me...but I was curious enough to stick it with to see how it would end.
This one is a little hazy. I remember that is had to do some with racism as the main character is white and she spends time with her new neighbors who are black. I'm sure there was more to it than that, but I'm not very clear on it.
