Told from the point of view of a teenage boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Weird and hilarious and sad all mixed together. Reminds me of Flowers for Algernon but it's *not* depressing. Unless your kid has Asperger's.
This book has gotten a lot of hype and was recommened by a professor so I will check it out when I get a chance. I started reading it and found it hard to get into....I'm putting it on hold for now.
a great book with points and commentaries about was that are still as pertinent today as they were when this was written. sure, sci-fi usually doesn't age well but the ideas linger.
