This book had all the promise of being a wonderful follow-up novel to one of my all-time favorites, "A Secret History". The plot even reminded me a little bit of "To Kill a Mockingbird"--a mystery in the south told through precociuos eyes. I was extremely disappointed--can't tell if I was disappointed more because I expected better from Donna Tartt or if the book really was *that* bad. I just didn't enjoy reading this book.
Super funny.. great for kids... not so great for Kindergarten teachers!

I am not crazy about philosophy, but I, somehow like Shayegan, first of all because he is fascinated by Indian philosophy. I admire his knowledge.
