From an historical stand point, this book was worth reading. However, the narration was rather slow paced and dense. I must admit, it was hard for me to get into this book. I have read a lot of books about the Halocaust, but I have never read one written by someone who helped the Jews. That much was refreshing. Ten Boon's bravery is notable; she clearly risked her life to shelter the Jews from the Nazis. Her faith is also tremendous, and that is what gave her the strength to take the action she did. My only other comment about her story is that there was a little too much talk of God and religion for my taste.

I loved this book! Yes, it did have a lot of cussing, but it was interesting.

I really enjoyed The Men I Didn't Marry. It had just the right number of subtle modern day references, and the pace was easy, but not slow. Plus, who wouldn't want to look up all their old bfs/gfs? Well, maybe not all...
