I thought that Bragg's story of rising above his "white trash" roots to become an accomplished journalist was amazing. I was less impressed with his writing - it seemed throughout that he was trying too hard to impress the reader with his story and that his prose was completely overwrought. I would recommend instead Jeanette Walls's The Glass Castle, which is a similar story, far more uplifting, and less artificial-seeming in its writing.
A fun continuation of the Anne books even if it is mostly about the neighbor children.
I really love mystery, fantasy and action and this book had it all. Such a great book and a quick read. I enjoyed every minute of it.
