Interesting discussion of the divide between people who see the world as one overarching story (hedgehogs, think Dante) and those who don't see a story (foxes, think Montaigne). He uses "War and Peace" by Tolstoy as an extended case study. I would have preferred it if he had stayed at a more detached level and dug deeper into the hedgehogs and foxes. That said, I finally found a binary school of thought to which I can attach myself; foxes represent.
