Turner Burns Burns itibaren Bahia Honda
A fun read - especially for comic book fans.
to paraphrase, "i'm picturing nuns in a burning bus going off of a cliff at this point..."
Much less historical fiction than historical romance. A little on the silly side, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Soldier X was a very interesting and thrilling story. The main character is a sixteen year old boy and he is in Hitlers youth. His name is Erik Brandt. He was fighting in a war against the Russians and during the war he got knocked out by a mortar shell. When he woke up he was in a trench with a shard of metal sticking out of his knee and there where Russian soldiers all around him. So he does the unthinkable and gets a Russian uniform and dresses up as a Russian. He used to be a Russian translator so he is very fluent with the language so everyone assumes he is Russian. Soon after joining the Russians he goes to the hospital to get his knee treated on while he is there he meets a girl around his age that he likes. Soon after arriving at the hospital they all have to evacuate because the Germans are going to bomb the hospital. During the evacuation him and the girl he met get split up from the rest of the group and are forced to survive on there own.
