I enjoyed this light spring read. Reminiscent of Debbie Macomber's Blossom Street books, this novel featured three women facing realistic life challenges. Much was made of lavender sugar, lavender cookies and lavender cake (the plant, not the color) and carrot cookies -- recipes for these items would have been a nice touch.
