Interesting reading, learnt heaps about my self and the people I deal with everyday. This book is very black and white about peoples behaviour, finally a book that does not offer excuses for the things we do.
I have never liked reading biographies, but since my mom bought this for me, I couldn't resist. I have actually read Boy a few years back, but for some reason, I read only a few chapters and immediately found it boring. However, this year (2011), I tried to read it again just because I couldn't find anything else to spend my time on, and surprisingly, I enjoyed it. I was actually shocked when I realized that I had already read halfway. I have learned quite a lot about Roald Dahl because of this book--his numerous mischiefs, misadventures, family stories, and many more. I even found out how he got the idea of writing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, one of his famous works! Getting to know more of my favorite author was, indeed, a very nice ride.
