the one and only reason im reviewing this book is because i was reading it at the very same time i learned how to organsm/masturbate. i was in forth grade. it was nothing in the book that got me all hawt and bothered. I do NOT reccommend it for those who have already 'discovered themselves.' later dudez.
2013 edit: I have almost no memory of ever having read this. This was several late nights in the spring of 2007 at the coffeehouse Agora in Houston. Southern families, affairs with slaves, murder maybe. The whole thing is a half remembered Southern gothic caffeine fueled fever dream. -- I spent most of my time marvelling rather than reading this one. Multiple reads are going to be required to fully absorb, but it continues a pattern found in several books I've read this year that have forever altered my conception of what can be accomplished in a novel in terms of both content and presentation.
