50 pages in I realized that I had already started and bailed on this book once before. I can see why people like it so much - the witty voice, the charmingly hapless characters, but they seemed a little stereotyped to me, and maybe a little smug too. I bailed on 'Empire Falls' a few years ago too, so maybe Russo just isn't for me.
