Un.be.liev.able. I'm suprised that I churned through 500 pages without losing interest - I couldnt put this down. Even when I knew how it would end, I couldn't put it down. Well done, Mr. Eichenwald.
I would have liked it better if there was more to it...less hunting scenes, and more backstory about how the world got so screwed up in the first place. Then I found out it's intended for "young adults". OK, that explains why it seemed like a watered-down version of some of my favorite dystopian novels. For a kids' book, it's pretty good.
