I have to say that after reading Twilight I was rather disappointed. After so many people had highly recommended it I thought I was going to be blown away. It wasn't that I didn't like, it was just that I wasn't that impressed. It was your typical teen romance novel with a vampire thrown in. Since I had already bought the books, I decided to keep going to see if it got better. And luckily it did. I have to say that with each passing book I enjoyed it more and more. Perhaps, the characters started to grow on me or the fact the the story seemed to develop a lot more in each novel. But I easily found myself hooked and finished all four books in less than a week. This is not the best series of books I have ever read, but if you like romance books, then give these a shot.
I actually got bored with this book, which kind of shocked me, since his other books have gotten such rave reviews and the synopsis seemed very engaging. So I never finished reading it. The first part was pretty good, but later, it kind of petered out so I decided to cut my losses and move onto the next book.
