Not a huge fan of graphic novels (had to read this for work) but this one was fairly engaging. The illustrations are pretty easy to follow, colorful and detailed. It's the "what if" story of Rapunzel escaping the tower (which in this version is a hollow in a very tall tree) and setting out to right the wrongs her evil stepmother has wrought on the surrounding countryside using her copious braids as whips and rope, and attempting to locate her birth mother. She teams up with Jack (of Jack in the Beanstalk fame) who is on the lam from the giant, and has his own talent for scams.
