From this book, I learned that one can survive in the Metropolitan Museum of Art if you're clever enough, and if you happened to be hanging out there before the current age of high-tech security systems. It is possible for children to sleep on antique beds, bathe in the fountains while scooping out the coins left by well-wishers, and hide in the bathroom while the security guard does a perfunctory check. This book was a favorite when I was a child, and has remained one I re-read every five years or so for its sense of mystery, fun, sibling relationships, and above all, ART!
