I read this the summer after my student teaching. My collaborating teacher really loved this book and was teaching it to her American Lit class, which was Juniors. I enjoyed the story and characters, but didn't really like it until close to the end. the book is structured in three sections, each one from one character's point of view. I remember really liking how all the information comes together at the end when we hear the last woman's story. However, this is not a book that stayed with me like other books.
