Both plot and protagonist were interesting in there strangeness. I believe I read this in my Wold Lit class. Watching a student work her way through this book was more exciting than reading it myself; it was very rewarding to see her figure out that it wasn't that she was missing something, but that she was supposed to think the narrator was messed up. I've seen a teacher do a mock trail for the narrator, too.
