I wasn't sure I was going to like a sequel to Timing, but this was an enjoyable read. You get to see the point they are at two years later and while they are still "together", the story shows how Stefan realizes so much about his life now and where he wants to be. This was a good story and wrapped a lot of stuff up.
This is an interesting story that goes on way too long. As an intelligence expert, multiple meetings at multiple hours in multiple Buenos Aires cafes is probably interesting stuff. For the average reader, though, it’s pretty dull. This book would be better if it were 50 pages shorter. Still, it’s a fascinating story that is part of the birth of a fascinating country.
A simple, easy-to-read Heinlein science fiction novel. Nothing too extraordinary, it follows a coming-of-age story that tracks the main character from slavery to, well, something different. The end of the book was somewhat sudden but OK. An enjoyable, easy-to-read but not gripping novel.
