I kept hearing people talk about this book, even woody allen and diane keaton mentioned it in the movie annie hall. I finally bought it when I was in jr. college in 1975. This is one of the most amazing books that I have ever read, I never knew that words could be so compelling and so visual until I read this book. A must read, a true classic and yes, a MASTERPIECE!
