A swiss family is shipwrecked on an island. Lucky for them they seem to miraculously know almost everything about the flora and fauna. The story is neat but the really cool thing about this book is the footnotes on almost every page discribing the natural life of the island. Did you know tapioca, if not properly cooked, is a deadly poision?
