The first 200 pages or so are about as good as it gets. I was absolutely enthralled. However, the "middle act" of the book is slow and confusing. Several characters that are all to similar, and after finishing, not important. Thankfully the book picks up in the last third. I'm looking forward to a tighter sequel.
