SWEET VENOM was lighthearted story which left me, like Forgive My Fins, rather disappointed. The cover is stunning, and was what got me to buy in the book in the first place, besides the back description. Greek mythology. What's not to like? Well, I got smarter. I would actually call this a chick lit-ish book, 'cause it does have many similar features with the genre. If you enjoy that genre, then you'll probably find this book to your liking, which I'm pretty picky about. Plus, you don't really focus much on the mythology, which is the saddest part, because I thing that what makes this story stand out from other book in the genre.
