Supernaturally is the second book in the series. There will be spoilers from book 1, Paranormalcy. I just finished Paranormalcy so I decided to jump right into book two. Like book one it was enjoyable. It was a quick and easy read. In Paranormalcy Evie was stuck working at the IPCA (International Paranormal Containment Agency). She can see through any paranormal's glamour. So the IPCA found her very useful. But by the end of the book she had escaped with her boyfriend Lend. In Supernaturally, Evie is now a high school student, which is what she always wanted. She works part-time at a diner owned by David (Lend's dad). But she's finding a normal life isn't as fun as she thought it would be. This setting is a nice change for book 2. We meet Jack (someone who can do what the fey do and bring people through the faerie paths). There is conflict. There is some romance. It's all enjoyable. But like I said in my review for Paranormalcy. I think this book is a bit too "young" for me. Plus when I finished Supernaturally I wasn't dying to rush into reading book three (like I normally would want to do when I finish a book two). But if you are younger than me and enjoy a quick fun read filled with some paranormal elements. Then check out this series.

Received this as part of the paperback swap, I think... Ended up being better than I feared at one point, when it seemed Sarah was going to prove to be the total self-effacing love-struck grrr. But she holds her own. It's a bit saccharine at times, and the mutual misunderstandings can get irritating, but I was glad to get a chance to read this. Quick, light read.
