“Before Me you are a slug in the sun. You are privy to a great Becoming and you recognize nothing. You are an ant in the after-birth. It is in your nature to do one thing correctly: before Me you rightly tremble. Fear is not what you owe Me, Lounds, you and the other pismires. You owe Me awe.” I'd forgotten just how much I took a liking to Harris' characters, Graham, Dolarhyde, and Lecter himself. Unfortunately we don't see Hannibal much in this book, but his presence is surely felt. Will Graham is a retired FBI profiler who had placed Dr. Lecter in jail, he was contacted to help with the Tooth Fairy case and consults Dr. Lecter about this intriguing character. One of the reasons I like the Dr. Lecter series is how much similarities there are between Lecter and Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series (which is seen in the later books), and now I even seen the resemble in Francis Dolarhyde.
