I have avoided Amy Tan. I thought her books would be nothing but an overwhelming infusion of estrogen spiked with the nuances of being Chinese-American. Well, shut my mouth. This was fantastic, AND Chinese-estrogen packed. I passed up internet and TV privileges to keep reading it, exciting, fun, empathetic. Thank you, Robyn!
I lurve this book! It is so perfectly silly and smart. I make everybody I know (and like) read it. Each time I read it, I cry and convulse with laughter. I bought the audio book but found that I like the way it sounds in my head better. Read it, I say unto you!
This was the first warrior book I have read. It was a bit confusing at first lol.
