Action packed. A great read
Not as much fun as the goose girl. Enna's attitude just got on my nerves.
I loved the book-great insight into Chinese cuisine and all the cultural aspects surrounding it. The accompanying story was ok-but what I really enjoyed was the look at the culture. (It helps that I'm getting to travel to Beijing this summer!)
Italy - A trip to a small twon in the hills of Tuscany. A sensitive look at home, community and the spiritual or magical. The poetic writing will charm you.
This book gave a new perspective on WWII for me. Some content was hard to hear, but the book is definitely well written. I can't imagine going through one of the things Louie did, let alone so many back to back. I understand that Louie makes for a much more interesting story, but my heart went out to Phil.
This is a gorgeous book, and illustrates that you don't need millions to decorate with a unique style.
