Perhaps even more so than Gladwell (who I think is great), Gawande knows how to tell a story. His writing is at the same time gripping and thought provoking. Complications is an easy, disturbing, enlightening, highly enjoyable read, recommended to everyone interested in medicine, and really anyone interested in things. Best book I've read in years.
