Really different from the other Dunant books I had read. It made me think and I had to re-read part of it to be sure I had gotten it right. I actually liked it because it made me use my brain and was unique. I like a mystery and the characters were certainly well-drawn.
A great historical romance from a great author. Ms. Small is simply one of the best in this genre.
