An amusing light read. I liked the premise of the time travelling gene and Gwen's unexpected forays into the past. The romance seems a little rushed, and I figured out the big secret that Gwen's mother is keeping about halfway through the book. (Said secret has not been revealed by the end, either.) The biggest downside was the lack of an ending. It's the first part, rather than a first story, in a trilogy, but the final two books haven't been published in English yet.
