I couldn't bear finishing this book (and i really didn't)but I just couldn't forget it. I really find shamanism so different from Christianity so this was a very peculiar book to me. I kinda liked the lost parables he wrote. He made it sound like the world is full of magical mysteries. He even mentioned that "fairies" exist(and more eyebrow-raising phenomenon and creatures were mentioned by the way)! But the fairies? Oh c'mon! How cool is that? Who knows what's out there beyond our noisy cities and other human infested places anyway? I really find that there is a possibility to what Keeney had revealed. I enjoyed those parts. And what's more brilliant is that everything is connected to Jesus Christ. It's just amazing how the Indians knew about Christ even when no missionary has ever reached them. And when they were asked by the missionaries how they knew Him, they answered, "He came here before you did." Strange right? But amazing! ^_^ But there were things that just weren't acceptable. Their culture is just WAY different from ours. But I respect them. I won't raise my eyebrows again. It's rude. lol ^_^
