çok garip ... ilk bölümü beğendim. efsane olduğumu düşündüm tüm hikaye. sonunda kısa hikayeler biraz tuhaflaştı. hala filmi görmekle ilgileniyor.
Şunu açıklığa kavuşturayım. Westerns'i sevmiyorum (muhtemelen batıdaki televizyonda popüler olduğunda 3 büyük kardeşin sonucu). Bu zaman dilimi, ülkenin bu bölgesi hakkında hiçbir şey yapmıyorum. Ancak bu kitap o kadar iyi yazılmış ki ilk birkaç sayfadan büyülendim. Aslında o kadar iyiydi ki kitabı bitirdikten sonra TV mini dizisini izlemek zorunda kaldım. Ve şimdi oturup tüm kitabı tekrar okuyabiliyordum. Muhteşem !! Bill Heery, bana bu kitabın bir kopyasını verdiği ve okumamı söylediğin için teşekkür ederim.
Oldukça cansız, ama cesur bir girişim, konunun sadece 26 yıl sorunsuz geçtiğini düşünüyor.
Çocukların fikrini ve savaşını beğendim, ama bazı ifadeler var gibi hissediyorum. Sanırım biraz daha iyi tanımlayabileceğini ve sadece haftalar sonra olmak yerine geçen süreyi gerçekten görebileceğimizi düşünüyorum. Bilmiyorum. Bazılarından gerçekten keyif aldım, ama hayal edebildiğim kadar yoğun yazılmış değildi.
Gerçekten, yine zevk. Üniversitede okudum ama hatırlayamadım.
Garrett takes a babysitting mission to keep an eye on his sworn enemy, Marcus Lattimer’s, half sister Sarah. From the previous two books in this series, I loved Garrett. So of course I was anxious for his novel, so much so that I pre-ordered. With that being said, I was vastly disappointed with his story. I found myself skipping chunks of pages that just dully rambled on about absolutely nothing. Especially the parts featuring Steele and his team. I guess I was expecting a little more excitement out of Garrett, not the bland storyline he received. At times I even found that I disliked Garrett. I understand that he had to lie to Sarah to do his job, but knowing all she had suffered through, he should have never went to bed with her while all this lies were between them. With her being a victim of rape, and having a difficult time with trust and men in general, I felt he did her a great disservice by bedding her before coming clean. It did pick up a bit toward the end as far as action goes. The situation regarding her brother was a little tricky. Sarah’s forgiveness of Garrett for his involvement was rather sudden but I guess it was nearing the end of the book so it had to be rushed. I will however continue the series just because it’s Maya Banks. No matter how disappointed I am with whichever novel of hers I’m reading, I tend to go back for more.
Received this through work a few years ago after Ben Zander was a speaker for one of our company's nat'l mttgs (BTW- simply just an amazing experience). I didn't read it at the time because I felt like, within my own life, I already incorporated most of the ideas he discussed. However, I wanted to give it to a friend last month and I didn't feel like I could in (all good) conscience, unless I first read it-- and I am so happy that I did!!! Great for anyone who is interested in exploiting their potential as a human being. :)
I really enjoyed this book! The characters felt very real and interesting and I wanted there to be more when I was done.
