** spoiler alert ** Although I do adore the Sookie Stackhouse novels... I'm having a tough time with the relationship between the characters. I feel like they are not changing, or learning. This was book three, and I sort of hoped a few different things would happen to change things, but nothing did. Such as, Sookie turning into a vampire. Or breaking up with Bill. Or something! And throughout the whole book, I just kept thinking, "Edward would never have cheated on Bella." LOL. Its like Sookie is trapped in this awful relationship (I guess I've never really liked Bill anyway), and now he's sleeping around, and maybe pushing her around too, and there are all these other wonderful men (okay... not men, per se) but really good guys just begging to sweep her off her feet... and she can't break up with stupid Bill. Ugh!
bought it over the summer. it was very interesting. then everything kinda blurs.. and i had to read the parts out of order b/c it got boring. but very good.
