Ugh... This didn't end in the way I imagined or hoped (and no, I haven't seen the movie but I doubt it's anything like the story). The whole thing made sense and was plausible in a way, and I felt for Neville and thought his journey through the hills and valleys of madness and solitude was palpable. Very well written. Dystopia: how I dislike it. It leaves such a bad taste in my mouth and makes the future look bleak. I feel kind of depressed. Giving this 4 stars because it affected me at all.
