loved the pictures!!!
I really loved and was terrified and deeply disturbed by it, so mission accomplished. It made me think in a way a lot of books don't: obviously, there's rampant commentary on the moral gray areas in the pro-life and pro-choice debate, but the way the consequences of that debate pervade every aspect of society is chilling. I think what really got me was that it addressed people making destructive decisions for everyone based on things they don't know and can't prove. It's unsettling to think about how often we do that. My one major qualm was that I felt like I was being told the "moral" of the story by way of the writing style, when I think it would have been more effective/subtle/less distracting if it had shown instead.
