Ignatius has been a part of my lexicon since I read it 25 years ago. Usually, I don't like novels where the characters are so loathsome, but there is something tender about his abject slovenliness. He's one of those characters who are with you for life. One of the funniest books I've ever read.
I was hoping this book was a singleton. I have too many series going. The first half annoyed me with how vague the author kept things, but as I kept reading I enjoyed the story. I would like to learn more about Attia, so I am hoping her story will come out in the sequal.
