This is a beautifully written & researched novel about a young woman of Jewish decent trying to survive during the Inquisition in Europe in the middle ages. Although historical fiction, it incorporates actual historical figures appropriately. It is hard to believe that any woman who was a healer, herbalist, educated, outspoken at that time was consider a "witch" in the negative sense. I highly recommend this novel.
Talbot Course: Exposition in Daniel and Revelation An introductory look at Apocalyptic Literature. You really get a good sense at the difference between prophesy and the genre of Apocalypse. It's a bit dry.
