Big hit in my book club. Beautifully written memoir about growing up in the 50's near Niagra Falls. Today they give kids Ritalin, back then, they sent this full of energy 4 year old to work in her father's pharmacy. Her adventures and relationships during her early years are a marvel to read. Her relationship with the Catholic Church is sobering. She tried, really she did!
Another apocalyptic classic King story. Very implausible, but a decent read.
