A page turner about British politics. As unlikely as it seems, Archer manages to make the tale of the political rivalry between 3 ambitious mean quite riveting, making British politics come alive at the same time. He writing on very firm ground here, once being one of the youngest MPs in the house.
this is one of my favorite books of all time. baxter really outdoes himself here--enchanting characters, beautiful writing and heartbreaking story.
